 ADVERTISING FORUM
3rd-5th APRIL 2003, BARCELONA, EUROPE
The only European Forum passionate and dedicated to maximising the potential of advertising in the marketing mix. This forum hopes to be an insightful, time effective opportunity to assess those responsible for development and strategy and hence suitability of available solutions. The event promises to deliver genuinely new ideas and tangible business benefits, intense dialogue, constructive feedback and heated debate. Run over a 3 day period in a prestigious 5* location in Barcelona, Spain during April 2003, it will be a combination of keynote speeches, interactive discussions and workshops. However the main emphasis will be to provide a platform for both solution providers and delegates to build relationships through the numerous one-on-one business meeting opportunities, delegate led workshops and case studies as well as over lunch, dinner and perhaps the golf course. The delegates are present to listen and learn from the industry players, network with their peers from the same industry and also do business with the supplier companies if they wish. All delegates will have been personally invited by a solution provider, be a senior level decision maker and command a significant budget.
The forum will be a blend of the following: -
Keynote presentations/panel discussions – These speakers will present strategically on key issues and suggest how companies can adapt their activities to capitalise on the opportunities further discussed.
Breakout sessions – These are very specific presentations split up into 8 streams concentrating on all areas of advertising. The emphasis with these presentations will be to focus on the ‘how to do’ and ‘how to improve’ situations. The delegates will be able to walk away with ideas that they can immediately apply to their own situation.
Interactive workshops - Solution providers will also be asked to host interactive peer discussion groups focusing on key topic issues, led by an experienced facilitator who is an expert in the topic under discussion. The focus will be on identifying individual needs amongst delegates who will all help to solve problems. These sessions are a great chance for delegates to establish a mutual support network long after the forum has ended.
One on one business meetings - A meeting scheduler will be set up and available to both solution providers and delegates 1 month prior to the event so both parties can indicate whom they would like to meet during the forum. Personal agendas will then be finalised by daypm Ltd and available for each attendee when they register on day 1. Mailboxes will be set up for all companies and individuals if they wish to request additional meetings whilst on site.
Light entertainment - Delegates will have an unrivalled opportunity to meet with the speakers, solution providers and other attendees during the refreshment breaks, lunches and dinners. Late afternoon on day 1 is solely focused on networking time. There will be options for groups of people to participate in fun activities on day 1 such as golf, a tour or a boat trip if they prefer otherwise they can just enjoy the surroundings of the hotel. Delegates will make great contacts, meet key sources of help and establish relationships that will help them do their job long after the event is over.
